(July 25), Following a four-year marriage, Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya parted ways. The all-rounder from India made his first comment on his ex-wife’s post since then.
After four years together, star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya announced last week that he and Natasa Stankovic had decided to call it quits. The couple, who started dating in early 2020, announced the news in a joint statement posted on their official Instagram accounts. Agastya, their son, was born into the family two months after their May 2020 marriage.
Since then, social media has seen a lot of strong reactions to their separation announcement. Despite the decision being extremely personal, fans have chosen a side. On social media, Natasa has been subjected to criticism, whereas Hardik, who was the target of fan ire during the contentious IPL 2024 season, has been showered with support.
Hardik has now shown maturity and grace in the middle of this emotional time. He showed his ongoing regard and affection on Wednesday by using a string of encouraging emojis to reply to a post made by Natasa Stankovic.
In her first Instagram post since the breakup, Natasa Stankovic shared endearing pictures of herself and their son, Agastya, having a great time at a Serbian theme park. The comment from Hardik was one of the reasons the post received a lot of attention.
He responded with an okay hand emoji, a red heart, an evil eye, and heart eyes.
We tried our best
The couple did their best to stay together, but Hardik said in a heartfelt statement last week that they should separate.
“Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways after four years of dating. We feel that this is best for us both because we gave it our all and tried our hardest together. In their joint statement, the couple said,” Given the joy, respect, and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family, this was a tough decision for us to make.
“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both of our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness.“
